Oklahoma State defeated Utah Valley 38-6 in Orem, UT on November 15, 2024. The Cowboys piled up bonus points across the lineup, turning what might have been a close dual into a comfortable win by a 32-point margin.

The dual featured several decisive finishes. At 133 pounds Reece Witcraft recorded a fall, a six-point swing that helped tilt the team score. At 149 pounds Carter Young delivered a dominant technical fall, 25-9, erasing any chance of a Utah Valley comeback with five team points. Luke Surber added another pin at 197 pounds, providing a second six-point bonus that further separated the teams.

Oklahoma State also collected technical falls at 174 and 184 pounds, and Wyatt Hendrickson closed out the heavyweight matchup with a 24-7 technical fall, underscoring how bonus-point victories decided the dual. Those high-scoring results, rather than a string of narrow decisions, defined the meeting and produced the decisive scoring runs for the Cowboys.

Utah Valley finished with six team points but could not match Oklahoma State’s collection of pins and tech falls. The combination of falls and technical falls on Oklahoma State’s sheet left little room for a late charge, and the visitors left with a convincing road victory.
