Oregon State downs Little Rock 29-10 in Corvallis
Beavers collected multiple bonus-point wins — including a pin by No. 25 Daschle Lamer and a No. 4 Justin Rademacher technical fall — to secure the Pac-12 dual at Gill Coliseum.
CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State defeated Little Rock 29-10 on Jan. 23, 2026, at Gill Coliseum, building a lead through multiple bonus-point results.
No. 10 Maximo Renteria opened the scoring with a 14-3 major decision at 125 pounds that supplied four team points and set the tone for the Beavers’ bonus scoring. No. 4 Justin Rademacher closed the dual with a 19-4 technical fall at 197 after a first-period burst that included three takedowns and a four-point nearfall, a sequence that put the match firmly out of reach.
Daschle Lamer, ranked No. 25 at 174, recorded a fall after compiling an 11-0 advantage. Transcript entries show a four-point nearfall in the first period and an escape and takedown in the second that accounted for the 11 points recorded before the pin.
CJ Hamblin, listed at No. 28 at 157, converted a first-period reversal and nearfall and added a third-period takedown plus a riding-time point to secure an 11-3 major decision. That late third-period offense and riding time closed the scoring sequence that decided the bout.
Little Rock posted three wins, two from ranked wrestlers. Brock Herman, No. 27 at 149, beat No. 28 Noah Tolentino 17-4 by major decision, building a 12-1 first-period lead with takedowns and near-falls. Matty Bianchi, ranked No. 5 at 165, used a first-period takedown and a second-period escape to hold on for a 4-1 decision. Michael Gasper closed the dual with a 4-2 decision at heavyweight.
Gabe Whisenhunt’s 12-4 major at 133 and TJ McDonnell’s 5-2 decision at 184 added decision points that kept Oregon State ahead through the middle weights. Manny Saldate’s 4-2 decision at 141 gave the Beavers an early cushion.
Oregon State’s athletic department said the win completed a sweep of Pac-12 dual opponents this season and listed attendance at about 1,200. The Pac-12 named Lamer its Wrestler of the Week after the match.
