Bellarmine @ Ohio State Recap

Ohio State men’s wrestling rolled to a 41-3 dual meet win over Bellarmine at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH on December 3, 2025. The Buckeyes’ dominance came through repeated bonus-point finishes that put the dual out of reach.

The deciding factor was a string of technical falls. Ohio State totaled seven technical falls, each worth five team points, turning individual wins into a decisive team margin. That barrage of bonus points created a run that Bellarmine could not overcome and built the bulk of OSU’s 38-point victory.

Several high-end matchups highlighted the rout. Top-ranked Jesse Mendez (#1) produced a 24-7 technical fall over AJ Rallo (#32), while Ben Davino (#2) finished Shay Korhorn 19-4 by technical fall, both adding major bonus to the ledger. At heavyweight, Nick Feldman (#2) blew past Daulton Mayer (#29) 17-1 by technical fall, and at 125 pounds Nic Bouzakis (#5) recorded a 19-4 technical fall over Damion Ryan. Those bonus wins, along with technical falls from Brandon Cannon (#4), Carson Kharchla (#6) and Paddy Gallagher (#12), left little room for a Bellarmine comeback.

Ohio State’s depth and ability to convert several matches into tech falls decided the night. Bellarmine managed just three team points as the Buckeyes closed out a comprehensive dual victory.
