Wyoming @ Oklahoma State Recap
Oklahoma State swept through Wyoming 32-6 in Stillwater on November 22, 2024, at Oklahoma State University. The Cowboys piled up bonus points to create separation and never looked back, leaving Wyoming with just six team points on the night.
The bulk of Oklahoma State's early margin came from two major decisions. At 133 pounds, Reece Witcraft downed Stockton O`brien 11-3 for a major decision that earned four team points, and at 165 pounds Cameron Amine followed with a 12-2 major decision over Cooper Voorhees, adding another four. Those high-scoring decisions built a gap that forced Wyoming to chase extra points.
The dual was put out of reach when Oklahoma State secured two pins. Dean Hamiti Jr. finished Quayin Short by fall, and heavyweight Wyatt Hendrickson closed his match against Kevin Zimmer with a fall as well. The two pins delivered 12 team points combined, turning a comfortable lead into a decisive victory for the Cowboys.
In the end, bonus-point victories defined the meet. Oklahoma State’s four bonus outcomes — two majors and two falls — were the difference in a 32-6 final. Witcraft, Amine, Hamiti Jr., and Hendrickson were the key contributors as the Cowboys collected the win in Stillwater.
