Hofstra @ Bloomsburg Recap
Hofstra Men's Wrestling defeated Bloomsburg Men's Wrestling 35-12 at Bloomsburg University on January 18, 2025. The Pride’s ability to pile up bonus points in the middle weights was the deciding factor in a dual that saw occasional resistance from the hosts but ultimately swung heavily in Hofstra’s favor.
Bloomsburg got a signature result when Kade Kluce pinned Hofstra’s Ryan Arbeit at 133 pounds, a momentum swing that produced six team points and gave the home crowd something to cheer about. That burst was one of Bloomsburg’s few big moments on the sheet, but it was not enough to change the overall trajectory.
Hofstra answered with a stretch of bonus-point victories that sealed the dual. At 149 pounds Noah Tapia recorded a 20-4 technical fall, scoring five points, and at 165 pounds Kyle Mosher closed a match by fall for six more team points. Ross McFarland capped the run at 184 with a 17-1 technical fall, adding another five points and putting the dual out of reach.
In the end Hofstra’s depth and bonus production proved decisive, turning a competitive duel into a 35-12 final. Bloomsburg will hold on to the 133-pound pin as a highlight, but Hofstra’s string of tech falls and falls in the middle weights carried the day.
