Arizona State @ Wisconsin

Wisconsin beat Arizona State 26-15 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on December 20, 2025. The Badgers put together enough bonus-point wins and tight decisions to overcome a couple of big outings from the Sun Devils and secure an 11-point margin.

The dual featured heavy bonus scoring. Wisconsin’s #9 Zan Fugitt recorded a fall over Carter Dibert, and #17 Joseph Zargo opened up with a 21-5 technical fall, a pair of bonus results that supplied a large chunk of the Badgers’ points. Wyatt Ingham’s fall at 197 pounds added another six-team-point swing, keeping Wisconsin in control when bonus scoring mattered most. Arizona State countered with two high-impact performances of its own: #25 Pierson Manville blew past Brock Bobzien 20-5 by technical fall, and #16 Nicco Ruiz added an 11-2 major decision over Cody Goebel for four team points.

With the bonus exchanges deciding much of the scoreboard, the final matches closed the gap but did not change the outcome. At heavyweight #17 Braxton Amos edged #19 David Szuba 2-0 to help salt the dual away for Wisconsin. In the end the combination of Badger bonus victories and a couple of narrow decisions proved decisive in a dual that featured several top-25 matchups and a string of high-scoring bouts.
