At 125 pounds Travis Clawson delivered a major decision, downing Tyeler Hagensen 12-4 and earning Clarion four team points. Later in the upper weights Adrian Gacek added another major, a 9-1 victory over Trent Thomas that also supplied four bonus points and widened Clarion’s lead. Those two majors were important momentum swings on the scoreboard.

The clear turning point came at 157 pounds when Judah Aybar pinned Dominic Paterra. Aybar’s fall was worth six team points and proved decisive; that single bonus secured the cushion Clarion needed to close out the dual. With the pin, Clarion accumulated the extra team points that separated the teams on the final scoreboard.
