South Dakota State edged Northern Colorado 30-10 in Brookings, SD on Feb. 7, 2025, as bonus-point wins swung the dual decisively in favor of the Jackrabbits. The final margin reflected several dominant performances that pushed SDSU well ahead on the scoreboard.

Cade DeVos delivered one of the biggest blows with a 21-5 technical fall at 174, good for five team points, and Luke Rasmussen closed out his heavyweight bout with a 15-0 technical fall, another five-point effort. Drake Rhodes added a major decision at 165, winning 12-1 and tacking on four more team points to deepen South Dakota State’s lead.

Northern Colorado’s bright spot came at 141, where Andrew Alirez scored an 11-3 major decision to earn four team points and avoid being blanked. Beyond that, SDSU’s collection of bonus-point victories — two technical falls and at least one major decision — proved to be the decisive factor in a 20-point dual.
