Stanford @ Oklahoma State Recap
Oklahoma State handled Stanford 33-7 at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK on November 7, 2025. The Cowboys built a runaway lead largely on bonus-point wins and a few high-profile decisions over ranked opponents, leaving Stanford unable to keep pace.
Oklahoma State's offense featured several dominant bonus performances. Troy Spratley, ranked #2, rolled to a 20-5 technical fall at 125 for five team points, and Konner Doucet, #9 at 285, added another technical fall, 19-4, to pile on bonus scoring. Landon Robideau’s 11-2 major decision at 157 against Stanford’s #5 Daniel Cardenas was another source of extra points and underscored OS’s ability to convert tight matchups into majors.
Stanford’s brightest moment was an upset at 149 when Aden Valencia, ranked #23, defeated Oklahoma State’s Casey Swiderski, who entered at #2, 13-3 by major decision. That was Stanford’s most notable result in the dual and a rare blemish on the Cowboys’ sheet, but it wasn’t enough to stop Oklahoma State’s bonus-point momentum.
In short, Oklahoma State’s collection of technical falls and majors proved decisive. A handful of bonus victories, including two technical falls and a big major over a Top 5 opponent, created the separation that produced the 33-7 final score.
