Lehigh @ Penn State Recap
Penn State beat Lehigh 36-6 at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College on December 7, 2025. The Nittany Lions turned a close dual into a rout by piling up bonus points across several weight classes, leaving Lehigh with only a single decision victory.
Penn State’s offense included two dominant technical falls from its upperweights. No. 2 Luke Lilledahl overwhelmed Logan Wadle 17-2 by technical fall, and No. 7 Marcus Blaze followed with a 19-4 technical fall over Mason Ziegler, each worth five team points and quickly widening the gap on the scoreboard.
The meet’s most surprising individual result came when PJ Duke, ranked No. 29, pinned No. 12 Logan Rozynski at 157 pounds, a six-point swing that underlined Penn State’s depth and delivered a knockout blow to Lehigh’s comeback hopes. Those extra bonus points, combined with other majors and falls on the card, were the deciding factor in the final margin.
Lehigh’s lone victory came at heavyweight, where Nathan Taylor, a No. 7, edged Penn State’s No. 9 Cole Mirasola 7-2 for three team points. Ultimately Penn State’s collection of technical falls and a key pin left Lehigh scrambling for answers in a 36-6 dual loss.
