LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Missouri beat Little Rock 33-9 Saturday at the Jack Stephens Center, collecting six bonus-point victories in a road dual.

No. 16 Mack Mauger opened the scoring with a 13-3 major decision at 125, recording takedowns late in the first period and again at 0:55 of the third to put the match out of reach.

Missouri followed with bonus results through the upper weights. No. 27 Gage Walker posted an 18-1 technical fall at 133. No. 16 Teague Travis closed his 157-pound bout by technical fall, 19-4. No. 10 Cam Steed recorded a 19-4 technical fall at 174 with all scoring occurring in Period 1.

No. 3 Aeoden Sinclair finished his 184-pound match by fall, the pin recorded after a sequence that included a four-point nearfall in the second period and multiple takedowns earlier. Logan Cole won by technical fall, 15-0, at 197, and No. 32 Jarrett Stoner closed the dual with an 8-2 decision at 285.

Little Rock’s three wins came in overtime. Brennan Van Hoecke beat No. 28 Zeke Seltzer 4-1 at 141 after an overtime takedown. Brock Herman, ranked No. 27, defeated No. 18 Josh Edmond 4-1 in overtime at 149. Matty Bianchi, No. 5 at 165, also secured a 4-1 overtime victory.

Missouri won seven of 10 bouts and claimed the bulk of the bonus points, moving its record to 10-7 while Little Rock fell to 3-9, according to the visiting team’s release. The host school noted Little Rock competed without ranked wrestlers Stephen Little and Jaivon Jones.

Missouri’s string of tech falls, the pin and a major decision produced the margin of victory; Little Rock’s sudden-victory wins kept portions of the dual competitive but could not offset the Tigers’ bonus-point production.
