Indiana @ Nebraska Recap
Nebraska rolled past Indiana 39-3 at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln on February 16, 2025. The Cornhuskers collected bonus points across the board to turn a dual into a rout, leaving little doubt by the midway point.
Brock Hardy provided a big lift with a 20-5 technical fall at 141 for five team points, and Ridge Lovett recorded a pin at 149, good for six points. Those two bonus wins were the kind of decisive outcomes that swung the team standings heavily in Nebraska’s favor.
Antrell Taylor continued the onslaught at 157, grinding out a 27-11 technical fall for another five bonus points, and Lenny Pinto added a technical fall at 174 to keep the pressure on Indiana. Nebraska also tacked on major decisions at 165, 184, and 197, which sealed the margin and left the Hoosiers with just three team points on the board.
What decided the dual was Nebraska’s streak of bonus-point victories in the middle weights. A string of technical falls, a fall, and multiple majors produced the bulk of the 39 points and made a comeback improbable. The final margin, 36 points, reflected Nebraska’s depth and ability to finish matches once position was established.
