Army Men's Wrestling rolled to a 37-3 road victory over Long Island University at Long Island University in Brookville, NY on January 12, 2025. The Black Knights piled up bonus points throughout the dual, leaving LIU with just three team points across the lineup.

A pair of dominant technical falls in the lower weights set the tone on the scoreboard. Charlie Farmer routed Sawyer Ostroff 17-2 by technical fall at 125 pounds, and Conor Collins followed with a 17-0 technical fall at 133 pounds, each worth five team points and forcing LIU to play catch-up.

The decisive stretch came when Army converted opportunities into pins. Gunner Filipowicz earned six team points with a fall over Donavan Smith at 165 pounds, and Wolfgang Frable closed out another big result with a fall against John Dusza at 197 pounds, also worth six points. Those bonus-point finishes, combined with the earlier technical falls, created a scoring run that effectively ended the dual as a contest.

Army’s depth and ability to convert matches into bonus outcomes made the difference; Long Island University managed only a single non-bonus scoring bout while Army collected multiple tech falls and falls to build a commanding margin. The 34-point win underscored Army’s ability to finish matches and rack up team points across several weight classes.
