The pivotal stretch came in the middle weights, where Brown collected multiple bonus-point victories. Giuseppe Iamunno registered a fall at 149 pounds, and Keegan Rothrock followed with a fall at 165, each worth six team points. Those pins erased any chance of a close finish and swung momentum firmly to Brown.

Brown kept pressure on at the top and bottom of the lineup.
