Clarion’s margin was built largely on bonus-point results. No. 33 Joey Fischer closed his 133-pound bout with a 16-1 technical fall that ended late in the second period. Scott Johnson and Oliver Fairchild turned their matches at 141 and 149 into major decisions, converting close sequences into extra team points for the hosts.
The dual opened with a comeback at 125 pounds. Travis Clawson fell behind 7-0 after Bloomsburg’s Jace Schafer posted a takedown and nearfall, but Clawson rallied in the third period with an escape, a tying takedown, a three-point nearfall and a riding-time point to take an 11-7 decision.
Bloomsburg’s most emphatic result came at 165, where Braidon Woodward recorded a fall over Sawyer Ayotte. That pin produced the visitors’ biggest swing, but it remained an isolated bonus result in the dual.
Clarion closed the scoring at heavyweight when John Meyers secured a fall over Mason Rebuck, ending the match and putting the final margin beyond reach.
