Ohio State defeated Chattanooga 36-6 in Columbus, OH on November 14, 2024, at The Ohio State University. The Buckeyes piled up bonus points throughout the dual, leaving Chattanooga with just six team points and little chance to rally.

A trio of early bonus wins gave Ohio State a decisive edge. Brendan McCrone dominated at 125, earning a 16-0 technical fall, and Jesse Mendez followed with a 23-7 technical fall at 141. Dylan D'Emilio added a 14-3 major decision at 149, and those three bouts alone accounted for 14 of Ohio State’s 36 team points.

The heavyweight end of the lineup finished the job. Luke Geog posted a 20-5 technical fall at 197, and Nick Feldman closed with a 19-4 technical fall at 285. Those two techs delivered another 10 team points and effectively sealed the 30-point margin in favor of the Buckeyes.

Chattanooga had opportunities in the non-bonus matches but never could counteract Ohio State’s barrage of bonus outcomes. When the Buckeyes were able to convert tight moments into major decisions and technical falls, the dual swung clearly in their direction and remained there through the final whistle.
