Oregon State @ Little Rock Recap
Little Rock Men's Wrestling beat Oregon State Men's Wrestling 29-14 in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 24, 2025 at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The visitors from Oregon State could not overcome a string of bonus-point results that swung the dual heavily in Little Rock’s favor.
The Trojans piled up bonus points early and often. Nasir Bailey dominated at 133 pounds, winning 21-4 by technical fall for five team points, and Brock DelSignore delivered another technical fall at 184, 20-4, adding five more. Matty Bianchi’s 9-0 major decision at 157 contributed four team points and further separated the teams.
The turning point came at 197 pounds, where Stephen Little sealed a six-point bonus with a fall, pushing Little Rock’s total to 29 and putting the outcome beyond reach. Oregon State fought back at heavyweight when Brett Mower responded with a 17-2 technical fall over Branson Britten for five points, but that charge was not enough to close the gap.
Little Rock’s ability to collect bonus points in multiple weight classes decided the dual. Four bonus wins, including two technical falls, a major and a pin, generated the cushion that left Oregon State with too much ground to make up despite the late tech fall at 285. The 15-point margin reflected Little Rock’s run of high-value results on the night.
