Rider @ Lock Haven Recap
Lock Haven topped Rider 24-13 in Lock Haven, PA on February 6, 2025, cruising to an 11-point dual meet victory thanks to multiple bonus-point wins.
The difference came in the middle weights, where Anthony Noto at 133 pounds and Wyatt Henson at 141 pounds each closed out dominant tech falls. Noto’s 18-3 technical fall and Henson’s 21-5 technical fall supplied 10 team points and gave Lock Haven a sizable advantage that Rider could not overcome.
Rider did get a major decision from Noah Michaels at 125 pounds, a 10-0 result that provided four important points for the visitors. Lock Haven countered with a major of its own at heavyweight, as Gavin Hoffman’s 14-4 major decision added four more points and helped lock in the win.
Ultimately Lock Haven’s collection of bonus-point victories separated the teams. Those bonus wins, centered on the two technical falls and key majors, created the scoring gap that produced the 24-13 final.
