Duke @ Oklahoma Recap
Oklahoma Men's Wrestling rolled to a 40-6 victory over Duke Men's Wrestling at the University of Oklahoma in Norman on December 21, 2025. The Sooners piled up bonus points throughout the dual, turning what could have been a tighter matchup into a clear win by a 34-point margin.
A run of bonus-point performances defined the night for Oklahoma. At 125 lbs, #24 Conrad Hendriksen dominated Spencer von Savoye, winning 19-4 by technical fall for five team points. Tyson Charmoli followed with an 18-5 major decision at 133 lbs, adding four more points and keeping the pressure on Duke.
The dual got away from Duke when Alex Braun recorded a fall over Raymond Adams, a six-point swing that put Oklahoma comfortably in control. Later, Eli Cordy delivered another decisive result with an 18-4 major decision at 184 lbs, tacking on four additional bonus points. Those four bonus victories combined for 19 of Oklahoma’s 40 team points and were the clear turning stretch of the meet.
Duke managed just six team points in the loss, unable to match Oklahoma’s collection of bonus outcomes against ranked and unranked opposition. Oklahoma’s ability to convert multiple matches into bonus wins was the deciding factor in a dominant road performance in Norman.
