Campbell topped Bellarmine 29-10 in a Southern Conference dual at Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC on January 24, 2025. The margin was built on a string of bonus-point wins for the hosts and one strong response from Bellarmine in the middle weights.

Anthony Molton’s 23-7 technical fall at 125 pounds delivered five team points and was an early statement of Campbell’s ability to close out matches decisively. That heavy scoring continued when Chris Earnest recorded a fall at 157 pounds, a six-point swing that pushed Campbell further ahead and forced Bellarmine to chase points on the other end of the lineup.

Bellarmine answered through Devan Hendricks at 184 pounds, where Hendricks posted a 12-2 major decision for four team points to keep the visitors in the match and prevent Campbell from running away with every bout. Hendricks’ major was Bellarmine’s only bonus-point result and represented their clearest momentum shift in the dual.

The turning blow came late when Landon Sargent finished William Muckler by fall at 285 pounds, adding six more team points for Campbell and effectively sealing the outcome.
