Hofstra Men's Wrestling rolled to a 35-12 win over Bloomsburg at Bloomsburg University on January 18, 2025. The visitors pulled away with an array of bonus-point victories that proved decisive, while Bloomsburg’s big moment came in the form of a 133-pound pin.

Bloomsburg sophomore Kade Kluce supplied one of the loudest results of the night, defeating Hofstra’s Ryan Arbeit by fall for six team points and one of Bloomsburg’s brightest moments. Hofstra answered with a streak of high-scoring finishes in the middle weights. At 149 pounds Noah Tapia stopped Nik Voros by technical fall, 20-4, and at 165 pounds Kyle Mosher put away Leo Hess by fall. Ross McFarland closed out the middle stretch with a 17-1 technical fall at 184, each bonus result widening the gap on the scoreboard.

Those bonus wins made the difference. Hofstra totaled five bonus-point victories to Bloomsburg’s one, turning otherwise close matches into a comfortable margin. The combination of Tapia’s and McFarland’s technical falls and Mosher’s pin swung the team score and kept Bloomsburg from mounting a comeback, leaving the final score a 35-12 loss for the home team.
