A pair of Lock Haven results supplied the margin. Curtis Nelson’s 19-7 major decision at 125 earned Lock Haven four team points, and Avery Bassett’s upset of No. 14 Myles Takats, 14-9 at 174, added three more. Bassett’s victory over a Top-15 opponent was one of the night’s most impactful individual performances for the visitors.

Bucknell answered with strong bonus work of its own. No. 27 Noah Mulvaney piled up five team points with a 15-0 technical fall at 165, and No. 26 Dillon Bechtold converted a 10-2 major decision at 197 for four points. Bucknell also picked up a big-ranked decision when No. 31 Dylan Chappell beat No. 24 Wyatt Henson 10-7 at 141, keeping the match close down the stretch.

In the end, Lock Haven’s major at 125 combined with Bassett’s upset over Takats proved decisive. Bucknell’s late bonus scoring made for a tight finish, but those Lock Haven performances separated the teams in a competitive dual.
