Lock Haven @ Clarion

Lock Haven battered Clarion 43-4 in a MAC dual at Clarion University on February 8, 2025. Clarion’s only points came from Travis Clawson, who scored a 12-1 major decision over Branden Wentzel to account for all four Clarion team points. From there Lock Haven’s offense kept piling up bonus scoring.

The turning point came in the middle weights, where Lock Haven strung together multiple bonus-point wins. Anthony Noto put up a 16-0 technical fall at 133 pounds and Wyatt Henson followed with a 20-4 technical fall at 141, each worth five team points. Avery Bassett’s fall at 174 added six more points and helped put the dual out of reach.

Lock Haven’s depth and ability to finish matches produced the decisive margin. The combination of tech falls and a pin swung the scoreboard emphatically, and a handful of major decisions and bonus results down the roster kept the momentum through the end. Clarion’s lone bright spot was Clawson’s major, but Lock Haven’s run of bonus victories made this a one-sided meeting.
