The swing came at 149 pounds when Penn’s Cross Wasilewski, ranked #13, finished Emilio Trujillo Dean by fall. The pin supplied six team points and gave Pennsylvania a clear cushion in the team score. Shortly after, Jude Swisher (#19) added a 13-1 major decision at 157, tacking on four more bonus points that stretched Penn’s lead further.

Northern Colorado fought back in patches. Dominick Serrano, the Bears’ #11 at 133, won a nail-biter, 13-12 over Penn’s Evan Mougalian (#13), a close decision that kept UNC within range but did not provide the extra points needed.
