Campbell Men's Wrestling beat The Citadel Men's Wrestling 35-6 at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina on February 9, 2024. The home side accumulated the bulk of its points with multiple bonus wins, turning the dual into a one-sided affair.

Anthony Molton’s fall over Malik Hardy provided an early burst of team points, and Domenic Zaccone followed with a dominant 19-4 technical fall over George Rosas to extend the gap. Caleb Hopkins’s pin of Adam Ortega added another six points and removed any doubt, while Taye Ghadiali closed out the heavy end with a 17-2 technical fall over Ben Stemmet. Those bonus results accounted for the vast majority of Campbell’s scoring.

A stretch of bonus victories in the middle and upper weights created the clear turning point. Instead of a back-and-forth, Campbell strung together pins and tech falls that produced big swings on the scoreboard and forced The Citadel to chase the match. Austin Murphy’s 17-4 major decision at 174 also contributed meaningful margin control in that run.

The Citadel was credited with 6 team points but could not overcome the sequence of Campbell bonus wins. With five bonus-point victories on the night, Campbell left Buies Creek with a sizable conference dual win and a clear advantage in depth and finishing ability.
