Chattanooga @ Presbyterian Recap
Chattanooga cruised to a 49-0 road sweep of Presbyterian on Jan. 31, 2025 at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. The Mocs piled up bonus points all night, turning what could have been a tight dual into a shutout by the final whistle.
A string of dominant wins featured several high-impact outcomes. Blake Boarman delivered a 21-3 technical fall at 133 pounds, and Noah Castillo matched that scoring style with a 21-6 technical fall at 157. On the mat, Kamdyn Munro got the match-ending fall at 184 to put pressure on the Blue Hose, and Ethan Vergara closed things out with a fall at heavyweight. Those bonus-point results, both tech falls and pins, did the bulk of the damage to the team score.
Depth and aggression were the deciding factors. Chattanooga recorded nine bonus-point victories across the lineup, combining majors, technical falls, and falls to build an insurmountable lead. With bonus points coming from several weight classes, Presbyterian never found a foothold and the Mocs left Clinton with a comprehensive shutout.
