Iowa Men's Wrestling beat Oregon State Men's Wrestling 30-7 in Corvallis, OR on November 2, 2024. The Hawkeyes collected the kind of bonus-point wins that swing duals, while the Beavers’ lone big result came at 157 pounds.

Drake Ayala supplied one of those bonus bursts, stopping Damion Elliott 26-10 by technical fall at 133 pounds. Michael Caliendo and Gabe Arnold followed with their own technical falls, 18-3 at 165 and 20-5 at 184, respectively, adding 15 team points on green cards and putting distance between the teams.

Oregon State’s highlight was Ethan Stiles’ 12-3 major decision over Caleb Rathjen at 157, a four-point performance that kept the Beavers competitive on the scoreboard. That effort, however, was overwhelmed by Iowa’s trio of bonus victories, which proved to be the decisive difference in the scoreline.

The final 30-7 margin reflected Iowa’s ability to convert chances into bonus points across multiple weights. Ayala, Caliendo and Arnold supplied the big moments for the Hawkeyes, and Stiles was the singular bonus response for Oregon State.
