Pittsburgh knocked off Maryland 35-3 at Maryland in College Park, MD on December 13, 2025. The Panthers piled up bonus points en route to a decisive victory, leaving the Terrapins with just a handful of points on the board. The meet was played at 8500 Paint Branch Dr in College Park.

Pittsburgh’s bonus-point run was the story of the night. Dylan Evans, ranked #21, took control at 157 with a 19-4 technical fall for five team points, and Chase Kranitz followed with an 18-3 technical fall at 184 for another five. At heavyweight Dayton Pitzer, ranked #16, added the biggest swing with a fall, earning six team points and effectively sealing the dual. Those three bonus results created a lead Maryland could not overcome.

Maryland’s most notable challenge came at 197 where #8 Mac Stout beat #17 Branson John 11-6 by decision, the only non-bonus highlighted decision in the set. Even with that win, Maryland couldn’t claw back after Pittsburgh’s sequence of tech falls and the late pin. The combination of ranked victories and multiple bonus-point finishes made the difference in a 32-point margin.
