Cowboys Roll to 41-6 Senior Day Win Over Little Rock
Oklahoma State piled up seven bonus-point victories and several top-ranked performances to turn a competitive night into a rout at Gallagher‑Iba Arena.
Oklahoma State overwhelmed Little Rock 41-6 in Stillwater on Feb. 6, converting early bonus points into a lead the Cowboys never relinquished. Seven bonus-point results — a mix of technical falls and pins — turned a close dual into a one-sided win by the middle sessions.
No. 2 Sergio Vega supplied one of the evening’s most dominant performances at 141 pounds, finishing with a 16-1 technical fall. Vega created separation with a second-period takedown and closed the match with a third-period nearfall to reach the tech.
At 165, No. 2 LaDarion Lockett handled No. 5 Matty Bianchi, 7-2. Lockett opened the match with a first-period takedown and maintained the edge through the closing periods to secure the decision in one of the night’s highest-profile matchups.
The Cowboys collected bonus points across the middle weights. Landon Robideau pinned his opponent at 157 for six team points, Alex Facundo recorded a fall at 174, and Cody Merrill added a fall at 197. Konner Doucet closed the dual with a 21-6 technical fall at heavyweight.
Oklahoma State’s starters set the tone early. Troy Spratley opened with a 17-2 technical fall at 125 and Ronnie Ramirez followed with a 19-4 tech fall at 133, two quick bonus wins that pushed the Cowboys ahead immediately.
Little Rock’s scoring came from Brock Herman, who edged Beau Hickman 6-5 at 149, and Kodiak Cannedy, who won 8-2 at 184. Herman’s weekend was later recognized by the Pac-12 as part of his conference honors.
The meet was staged as Oklahoma State’s Senior Day at Gallagher‑Iba Arena, where the Cowboys leaned on a veteran, ranked core and an abundance of bonus-point finishes to secure the 41-6 final.
