LANCASTER, Pa. — Franklin & Marshall defeated Morgan State 51-0 at the Diplomats on Feb. 11, 2026, completing a shutout fueled by a string of bonus-point results.

The Diplomats opened a decisive run of bonus outcomes early in the dual and never relented. Mason Leiphart recorded a 15-0 technical fall at 133 pounds and No. 30 Bryce Kresho finished his 141-pound bout by pin, then Franklin & Marshall received forfeits at 149 and 157 before Josh Palmucci closed his 165-pound match by technical fall, pushing the Diplomats well ahead in the team race.

No. 5 James Conway added a technical fall at 184, winning 20-3 after a first-period flurry and additional second-period scoring that produced the 20-point margin. Transcript entries show Conway added takedowns and a nearfall in the second period that completed the sequence leading to the stoppage.

Brandon Carr supplied one of the closest results for Franklin & Marshall, edging Cort Vann 2-1 at 174 with a riding-time point in the third period providing the margin. James Garcia closed the dual with an 18-5 major decision at 125, using takedown-and-nearfall sequences late in the match and a riding-time point to finish the scoring.

Leo Varga produced another technical fall at 197 and Brody Kline recorded a pin at heavyweight, giving the Diplomats multiple late bonus outcomes that kept Morgan State from gaining momentum.

The bonus barrage totaled seven bouts that ended with bonus results, including multiple technical falls and two pins, which accounted for the bulk of Franklin & Marshall’s team total. The Diplomats improved their record with the win and moved forward in conference play.

Franklin & Marshall’s ability to convert chances into bonus points and the depth across weight classes produced the shutout; Morgan State did not register a team point.
