Indiana Men's Wrestling knocked off Chattanooga Men's Wrestling 33-11 at Indiana University in Bloomington on February 23, 2024. Indiana’s depth and ability to finish matches with bonus points made the difference in a dual that never tightened late.

Chattanooga’s standout moment came at 141 pounds, where Isaiah Powe ran up a 17-0 technical fall over Cole Rhemrev, putting Chattanooga on the board with a big bonus. That result, however, was one of the few times the visitors picked up major team points.

Indiana responded with a string of bonus victories that built the cushion. Blaine Frazier recorded a fall at 125 for six team points, Graham Rooks delivered a 19-4 technical fall at 149, and Gabe Sollars closed out his bout with a fall at 197. Those bonus wins, along with other majors and techs on the card, produced the separation necessary for a comfortable win.

Ultimately the match was decided by Indiana’s ability to convert opportunities into bonus points. Chattanooga showed life at 141, but Indiana’s multiple pins and technical falls carried the day in Bloomington, yielding the 33-11 final.
