EAST LANSING, Mich., Feb. 21, 2026 — Central Michigan defeated Michigan State 19-15 at Jenison Field House, with two bonus-point victories providing the decisive margin in a 5-5 split of the dual.
Central Michigan’s Nick Blackburn earned a 9-1 major decision at 141 and No. 21 Chandler Amaker pinned DJ Shannon at 165 in the first tiebreaker, the pin coming with roughly six seconds remaining in that period. Those two bonus scores created the gap in a meet that otherwise featured five wins apiece.
Mason Shrader, listed at No. 24 at 157, delivered a late takedown with 17 seconds remaining and won 10-7, another key result for Central Michigan. The official bout summaries show the final team score as 19-15.
