What decided the dual was Campbell’s ability to turn matches into bonus-point victories across the lineup. Cooper Shore’s 16-1 technical fall at 125 earned five team points, and Logan Heil matched that impact with a 15-0 technical fall at 133 for another five. Ryan Bolletino put more distance between the teams with a 12-1 major decision at 165, and Landon Sargent’s fall at 285 added a six-point pin. Those four bouts alone accounted for 20 team points and made the margin insurmountable.

Campbell added enough bonus and decision wins elsewhere to push the final margin to 47 points, while Davidson was unable to break through for an individual victory. The combination of technical falls, a major and a fall across key weight classes underscored Campbell’s scoring punch in the dual and produced the shutout on home mats.
