Oklahoma State took care of NC State 34-3 at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater on January 13, 2025. The Cowboys built a commanding lead behind multiple bonus-point wins and never trailed, handing NC State of the ACC a tough night in Big 12 territory.

The decisive stretch featured three bonus victories that swung the dual firmly in Oklahoma State’s favor. At 133 pounds Cael Hughes recorded a fall over Kai Orine, a six-team-point result that punctuated the team score. At 141 pounds Tagen Jamison ran up a 21-5 technical fall over Tyler Tracy for five more team points, and at 197 pounds Luke Surber added another technical fall, beating Christian Knop 18-2 for an additional five points. Those three outcomes alone accounted for 16 team points and created the separation that decided the meet.

NC State was held to just three team points overall and could not find an answer for Oklahoma State’s bonus-heavy night. The Cowboys’ collection of a pin and two technical falls made it difficult for the visitors to climb back into contention, and Oklahoma State closed out the dual comfortably.
