Campbell defeated Rider 33-12 at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C., on January 18, 2026, handing the Broncs a 21-point setback in the dual. The margin was built on an overwhelming bonus-point performance by the hosts.

Campbell collected five bonus-point victories, and four of them decided the matchup. At 141 pounds Zander Phaturos rolled to a technical fall over #17 Elijah Griffin, and at 165 Talon Maple earned a major decision over #31 Brendon Abdon. Ryan Bolletino turned in the biggest blow when he pinned #32 Enrique Munguia at 174, a six-point swing that swung the scoreboard emphatically. Conor Maslanek added a major decision at 197 against #22 Brock Zurawski to keep Rider from mounting a comeback.

Those bonus wins across the middle weights proved to be the turning stretch; Rider could not match the extra team points generated by Campbell’s offense. With tech falls, majors and a fall on the card, Campbell controlled the dual tempo and closed it out comfortably, 33-12.
