Lehigh defeated Navy 23-15 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA on January 20, 2024 in an EIWA dual. The final margin came down to a handful of high-impact bouts that swung the team score in Lehigh's favor.

The difference was Lehigh’s bonus-point production. Sheldon Seymour picked up a fall over Dayton DelViscio at 125 to deliver six team points, and Max Brignola followed with a fall at 157 for another six. Michael Beard closed out the big scoring with a 21-5 technical fall at 197, good for five team points. Those three bonus wins supplied 17 of Lehigh’s 23 team points and created the cushion that Navy could not overcome.

Navy stayed competitive in the other matches and kept the dual within reach, but Lehigh’s ability to turn a few bouts into bonus-point victories decided the outcome. The 23-15 final underscores how a trio of pins and a tech fall can be the decisive element in a conference dual.
