Cal Poly Men's Wrestling Team defeated California Baptist Men's Wrestling 32-6 in San Luis Obispo, CA, on December 20, 2025. The dual was decided by a handful of high-impact finishes and bonus-point results that swung the score well in Cal Poly’s favor.

Koda Holeman, ranked #18 at 125 pounds, scored a fall over Mitchell Neiner to deliver six team points and one of the night’s biggest moments. At 174 pounds, Cash Stewart put up a control-oriented performance, topping Mason Espinoza 4-0 by major decision for four more team points.

Two technical falls further stretched the margin and removed any doubt. Ceasar Garza, listed at #28, recorded a technical fall over David Alonso for five team points, and heavyweight Trevor Tinker, ranked #20, also recorded a technical fall against Tristan Kemp for another five team points. Those bonus-point victories, along with Holeman’s pin and Stewart’s major, provided a decisive scoring run that made the dual a decisive win for Cal Poly.

Ranked wrestlers carried much of the burden for Cal Poly, and the collection of bonus outcomes accounted for a large share of the 32 team points. California Baptist was limited to six points on the night, and Cal Poly’s ability to convert opportunities into bonus points proved to be the difference in San Luis Obispo.
