Gannon @ Edinboro Recap
Edinboro Men's Wrestling rolled to a 46-4 dual win over Gannon in Edinboro, PA on December 19, 2025, cruising to a 42-point margin in the PSAC meeting. The final score reflected a night when Edinboro collected multiple bonus-point victories that Gannon could not match.
Two dominant technical falls stood out on the score sheet. At 149 pounds Ryan Michaels ran up a 22-7 technical fall for five team points, and at 174 pounds Tate Geiser delivered a 20-5 technical fall for another five. Those types of bonus wins helped Edinboro rack up team points quickly and put pressure on Gannon’s lineup.
The marquee result came at 184 pounds, where #17 Jared McGill finished Kellen Buggey by fall, adding six team points and further inflating the margin. Between the two technical falls and the pin, Edinboro collected 16 of its 46 team points from those three bouts, underscoring how bonus scoring decided the dual.
Gannon was limited to just four team points while Edinboro’s attackers produced the margin through decisive results rather than narrow decisions. The combination of two tech falls and a ranked-pin made the difference, leaving Edinboro with a comfortable victory in front of the home crowd.
