The Patriots seized control early, building a 17-0 advantage after the first three bouts. No. 30 Logan Messer opened the scoring with a technical fall at 174, Malachi DuVall recorded a pin at 184 and Jack Kelly followed with a fall at 197 to produce the early bonus cushion.
George Mason extended the margin through the middle weights. Drew Dickson finished by technical fall, 18-1, at 165, and Tate Hisey recorded a 13-2 major decision at 141. Ben Monn held a 4-1 decision at 125 after an opening-period 3-point takedown and a late escape preserved the margin.
No. 25 DJ McGee added a 7-2 decision at 157, opening the bout with a three-point takedown and adding a second-period takedown to put the match out of reach.
Gardner‑Webb supplied several bonus-point results of its own. No. 14 T.K. Davis won by technical fall, 21-5, at 133; a takedown at 0:18 of Period 2 produced the 16-point margin that ended the match.
