Campbell topped Davidson 31-9 in a SoCon dual at Davidson on January 21, 2024 in North Carolina. The visitors piled up bonus points throughout the dual and left with a comfortable 22-point margin.

A string of dominant performances supplied the separation. At 125 pounds Anthony Molton put up a 21-6 technical fall for five team points, and at 133 Domenic Zaccone followed with a 19-4 technical fall worth another five. In the upperweights Campbell punished Davidson on the mat when Levi Hopkins recorded a fall at 197 for six team points, and Taye Ghadiali closed out the heavy end with a 17-2 technical fall at 285 for five more. Those four bonus wins alone accounted for 21 of Campbell’s 31 points.

That run of bonus outcomes was the clear turning point; the accumulation of tech falls and a pin opened a gap Davidson could not overcome. Davidson managed some points elsewhere, but Campbell’s string of high-value victories turned a competitive dual into a decisive road win.
