Lehigh knocked off Binghamton 29-12 on January 12, 2024 at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in an EIWA dual. The Mountain Hawks paced the dual with a string of bonus-point wins that ultimately decided the meet.

Nathan Taylor sealed the result with a fall at 285, and Sheldon Seymour’s 16-3 major decision at 125 and Michael Beard’s 12-1 major at 197 added four points apiece. Those big outcomes left Binghamton scrambling to keep pace.

In fact, every one of Lehigh’s 29 team points came on bonus victories, underscoring how decisive that stretch was. Binghamton scored 12 points across the card but could not offset the Mountain Hawks’ accumulation of majors, technical falls and a pin.

Lehigh’s depth delivered when it mattered most, turning bonus-point opportunities into a comfortable margin in Bethlehem. Binghamton will look to regroup after a dual where a handful of high-scoring bouts swung the scoreboard sharply in Lehigh’s favor.
