West Virginia traveled to Rider in Lawrenceville, NJ on November 14, 2024 and came away with a 31-9 dual meet win over the Broncs. The Mountaineers piled up bonus points in the middle of the lineup, turning the meeting into a one-sided result by the end of the contested weights.

The bonus barrage began when Jett Strickenberger recorded a fall over Michael Campanaro at 133 pounds for six team points, and Jordan Titus followed with a fall at 141 for another six. Those pins were backed up by dominant work at 149 and 165, where Ty Watters won by technical fall, 16-1, and Peyton Hall closed with a 22-7 technical fall. Each of those performances brought major team dividends.

Those four bonus-point victories accounted for 22 of West Virginia’s 31 team points and represented the decisive stretch of the dual. The combination of pins and tech falls prevented Rider from mounting a comeback and gave West Virginia a comfortable cushion heading into the remaining matches.
