Missouri handed Arizona State a 21-15 loss in Columbia, Mo., on January 22, 2025, at the University of Missouri. The Tigers collected enough bonus points to pull away in a close Big 12 dual, with three major decisions proving to be the difference.

The swing came on three dominant wins that each earned Missouri four team points. Kade Moore put together a 13-3 major decision at 133 pounds over Julian Chlebove, and Josh Edmond followed with a 17-8 major at 141 pounds against Daniel Miranda. Those majors pushed Missouri’s cushion, and Joel Mylin’s 11-1 major at 174 added the extra breathing room the home team needed.

Arizona State stayed competitive through several tight bouts, but the Sun Devils could not overcome the combined 12 bonus points yielded by those majors. With the margin at six team points, Missouri’s ability to convert close matches into bonus victories ultimately decided the dual.

Missouri’s trio of major decisions were the deciding factor in Columbia. Missouri finished with 21 team points to Arizona State’s 15, and the Tigers’ bonus-point production separated the teams when it mattered most.
