Edinboro @ Clarion Recap
Edinboro Men's Wrestling beat Clarion Men's Wrestling 26-12 in a Mid-American Conference dual at Clarion University on January 12, 2025. The visitors pulled away with an exhibition of bonus-point wrestling that made the difference across the middle weights.
Colton Camacho's fall at 133 pounds was the biggest single swing, a pin that delivered six team points and put Edinboro ahead on an emphatic play. Anthony Ferraro followed with an 11-3 major decision at 141 pounds, adding four more team points and extending the margin with a dominant, controlled performance.
Edinboro turned the heat up in the upper middleweights when Ryan Michaels recorded a 17-2 technical fall at 157 and Brody Evans posted an 18-1 technical fall at 174. Those two techs were worth five team points apiece and created the decisive scoring run; the string of bonus-point victories proved too much for Clarion to overcome.
Clarion managed 12 team points but could not match the bonus output that defined the night. The loss leaves Clarion looking for more bonus production to close similar gaps, while Edinboro’s four-bonus performance delivered a clear dual meet margin and the road victory in Clarion.
