Oregon State Men's Wrestling topped Wyoming Men's Wrestling 34-6 in WY, WY on February 10, 2024. The Beavers collected four bonus-point victories that swung the dual decisively and left Wyoming with just six points on the evening.
Maximo Renteria provided a highlight with a fall at 125 pounds, a six-point swing that put Oregon State on the board in emphatic fashion. That victory punctuated a night where bonus wrestling mattered most for the visitors.
Trey Munoz and Justin Rademacher delivered back-to-back technical falls at 184 and 197 pounds, winning 20-1 and 20-4 respectively. Those two tech falls generated five team points each and represented a clear turning point, building a lead that Wyoming could not overcome.
Boone McDermott closed out the highest-impact results with a fall at 285 pounds, adding another six team points and effectively sealing the outcome. Oregon State’s four bonus-point wins accounted for 22 of the team’s 34 points, and those decisive finishes were the primary reason the Beavers left Wyoming with a 28-point margin.
