Air Force @ Presbyterian Recap
Air Force rolled to a 41-3 victory over Presbyterian at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina on January 24, 2025. The Falcons put the dual out of reach with a string of bonus-point wins that left Presbyterian scrambling to respond.
The middle and upper weights were where the match swung decisively. Gavin Caprella’s 17-1 technical fall at 133 pounds set an early tone of dominance, and Jack Ganos followed with a 16-0 technical fall at 174 that continued the barrage of bonus points. Brian Burburija’s 17-0 technical fall at 197 pounds added another five-team-point result and further widened the gap, underscoring how Air Force’s offense overwhelmed Presbyterian across multiple classes.
The dual was punctuated by a match-ending pin from Antonio Ramos at 285 pounds, a fall that delivered six team points and closed out the scoring. Those tech falls and the heavyweight pin accounted for the bulk of Air Force’s bonus scoring and left little margin for a comeback.
Presbyterian was limited to just three team points on the day while Air Force collected multiple majors, technical falls, and a fall to build a 38-point margin. In short, a concentration of bonus-point victories across the middle-to-heavy weights decided the dual long before the final whistle.
