Clarion @ Lock Haven

Lock Haven held off Clarion 30-10 at Lock Haven University on December 5, 2025, turning several bonus-point wins into a comfortable 20-point margin.

Clarion had bright moments, including Travis Clawson’s 17-6 major decision at 125 and an upset at 133 when Joey Fischer, ranked #33 for Clarion, took an 8-2 decision over Lock Haven’s #32 Gable Strickland. Those two bouts kept the visitors competitive early on, but they were not enough to overcome Lock Haven’s run of bonus scoring.

The turning stretch came from Lock Haven’s big upper-weight results. #23 Wyatt Henson blew open the scoring with a 21-5 technical fall over Scott Johnson at 141, and Avery Bassett, also ranked #33, delivered a fall at 174 that swung maximum team points to the home side. Those decisive outcomes erased Clarion’s gains and gave Lock Haven control of the dual.

Lock Haven collected additional bonus points through the rest of the lineup to finish off the 30-10 victory. Clarion picked up quality wins in the lower weights, but Lock Haven’s collection of tech falls, a pin, and majors in key matchups supplied the margin that decided the meet.
